When Tragedy hits close to Home

It’s always sad when you turn on the news and you see a home that’s burned down in your community. This one hit a lot closer to home, in that it’s the house I grew up in. We haven’t lived there for 30+ years, we moved away when I was 9, but I can still remember every inch of it and have a lot of fond memories growing up there.  Luckily I now have a platform in which I can help.

We were able to get in touch with the current owner, and after a nice lunch and a few tears we set to work on designing him and his daughter a new home.  After many hours putting together designs, working drawings, and meetings with the Town of Okotoks and trade teams, construction has begun and a new beginning is within site.

We can't wait to hand the keys over to our new friends, and a huge thanks to all of the trades that stepped up with their pricing, we definitely couldn't have built this house without your generosity.  A special thanks to Brent Ballash from Bold Electric for taking the construction reins, our project is in good hands!
